Location
Placencia, Belize
The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, with no big hotel, noisy bar, or resort around. We are in a residential part of the village, where the sidewalk was still only a path in the sand a few years ago... entertainment is only 10 minutes away, by walking on the sidewalk to the center of the village.
Getting around
We have free, private, gated parking at the very end of a cul-de-sac dirt road (safe and quiet ).
You can go everywhere in the village from our house by walking on the sidewalk, or you can also rent a bicycle, a golf cart or a car in the village for moving around. The Placencia airstrip is less than 10 minutes drive from our place. The bus passes at the end of our lane, and if you go for a boat trip, the boat can pick you up right from the beach at the end of the garden!
